To celebrate Resident Evil’s 20th Anniversary I produced this LED painting with the most iconic enemies of the franchise. Here’s a quick making of video:

I call them “LED Paintings” but the proper description would be a “Digital projection in real environment using LED Stick and slow shutter speed photography”. See more LED Art here

Resident Evil Celebrates 20 Years

20 years ago on March 22, 1996, Resident Evil burst onto the gaming scene. Since then the series has gone on to become one of the most successful gaming franchises of all time selling over 66 million copies worldwide. Hollywood feature film releases, merchandise, attractions and events across the globe reinforce the fact the series continues to infect the hearts of Survival Horror fans everywhere.

Don’t worry I didn’t ran out of retro magazines with Tomb Raider. But with the current shitstorm regarding Xbox One Exclusive (which is probably a timed one anyway) I decided to step away for sometime and post some Resident Evil (one of my all time fave games too! RE2 is my fave from the series). Might post some Crash Bandicoot later (if TR shitstorm carries on lololol).

Anyways these are from Playstation Pro magazine (aug 1997) and Gamefan magazine October 1997.

An abstract Self Portrait. I’ve been given this task in uni – I needed to do 3 photos which would represent me. There were strict rules about Photoshop – I was only allowed to do the basic alterations and no retouching. SO I created massive backgrounds and then printed them out on 70+ A4 sheets.

Anyways, about the final images

One represents how I come from a shithole country, where photography is not permitted, to the UK, where I succeed in photography and even get published.

Another one shows how I used music in order to protect myself from the verbal abuse.

And last one shows how much I am into technology, Tomb Raider and Resident Evil
