End of Year Report

We strive to be different, unique and exceptional website; a website that delivers original content and not relies on official news posts; and so, December is here so it’s time to analyse everything we did this year. It was a very eventful year for us as we published tons of content and even completely migrated our website!

We were also nominated for a UK Blog Award and we’d appreciate your vote 🙂

FIRST TOMB RAIDER ANNUAL FAN MEETUP

Last year we delivered the largest 20th Anniversary Celebrations for the fans at PLAY Expo. After the event, fans asked us to organise an annual get-together. We listened and delivered the first annual Tomb Raider fan meetup this year. You can see the full recap here.

Tomb Raider Level Editor Contest

We hosted a number of competitions previously and this year we wanted our level editor enthusiasts to have a chance to win some fantastic prizes.

TOMB RAIDER ANNIVERSARY EDITION UNCOVERED

Thanks to our generous contributors, we managed to publish a number of previously unseen content on this cancelled game.

We created a special page with all the media.

KURTIS TRENT: BLOODLINE

We published a number of documents, sent to us by our generous anonymous contributor. The documents reveal a spin-off Kurtis Trent game that was planned after the Angel of Darkness. You can read everything we have on this game here.

TOMB RAIDER: THE ANGEL OF DARKNESS

Thanks to Murti Schofield, the writer, we published tons of documents and media on this game. This includes background story, original ideas, sequel notes and much much more. Read it all here.

BIG BIRTHDAY WEEKEND

Started with terrible tragedy unfolding right on my doorstep (I live next to Manchester arena) and culminating with my fantastic friends coming all over the UK. It was certainly one of the most lifechanging weeks of my life. Read about it here.

EVENTS

As usual, we attended and delivered recaps for a number of events:

First Ever Look At The Unreleased Tomb Raider Movie Script

As you may have noticed, we’ve obtained a copy of the unreleased Tomb Raider Movie Script. The script is dated 1999 and was later changed completely.

We’ve took our time to scan the script into a pdf file

We were very busy this year and it would be impossible to log everything we did in a single post, but do feel free to explore our post archive.
